Where can you find the best artisan products of each country in one roof?
L’Artigiano in Fiera is the most awaited Christmas Market of Milan, Italy. It is where you can find the best artisan products of each italian region from north to south and the best crafts from Europe, Africa, Asia and America. It is held every year, usually in the first week of December, in time with the feast of Saint Ambroeus holiday. The best time for the locals and tourists to do their early christmas shopping.
L’Artigiano in Fiera has 9 pavillions. More than 3,000 stands and more than150,000 products from more than 100 countries. It showcases their best artisans crafts, gastronomical and wine products , restaurants ,cultural shows and tourist informations of each country. Italy has 3 pavillions and is divided by regions. The Sicily, Calabria, Puglia and other southern italian provinces are the most visited part of the fair because you will find there the best products of the mediterranean. Olives, wines, delicacies, pasta, goat cheese, food and wine tasting etc. I love most the colorful ceramics of Sicily, bijoux, the handmade linens of Sardegna, fruit liqueurs, pistacchio delicacies, panettone, taralle, torrone, cantucci biscuits etc.
France has their linens, cheese, wines and lavender soaps. Spain has Paella and Sangria. The Russian dolls are very colorful. The Indian cashmere scarves are the best sellers in the Asian pavillion. Africa has their wood crafts and Morocco has their carpets and leather products.
Cultural dances, musical concerts, and cooking shows are my favorite events.
So many things to see and enjoy!
